In the biggest transaction of state stock exchange market of 2000 Foad Rey purchased 48.7 percent of Pars Oil Company stocks. The present shareholders in both local and foreign  sections of the Company are:

Pars Oil Company is one of the largest oil products producers of the country. It was registered at the Department for the Registration of Corporations and Industrial Ownership of Tehran in December 1958 under registration number 6388. The refinery installations of the Company are in klm 22 Tehran-Karaj road and its head office is in Mirdamad, Tehran. The Company made participations with International Shell Company in 1964 and after producing its first series of products and transferred a part of its shares to This Company. Around 40 years ago; in 1967, the stocks of Pars Oil Company were accepted at Tehran Stock Exchange Market as a public joint stock company.

In its new management stage, in 2000, the company made quality as its main focus and approach and obtained standard certificates in quality management, environmental management, professional health and safety management and Sapco 79 standard certificates.

Ö Scope and objectives:

Pars Oil Company has approximately half a century records in refinery industry and producing oil products and is one of the large and main companies of this industry in both Iran and the Middle East countries. The company has already established its status in this field. The products of Pars Oil Company include  all types of engine and industrial oils, different types of lubricants and grease, brake oils, anti-frosts and solid paraffin.

This Company has made large investments and has expanded its overall improvement and has prepared itself to enter into competition with the first class competitors of world and increase its share in world markets. In its seven-year  plan, these objectives are defined clearly and shows the strong will of the company to be present in highly serious and competitive markets in the world.

Ö performance:

During 2003 to present time, basic changes have occurred in Pars Oil Company. The senior managers of the Company have set big plans and great objectives forth  through a large perspective and an approach towards globalization and have already initiated a great move. During this period, more than 170 large projects with the target of development and reconstruction with nearly 1500 billion Rials expenses have been defined and handled. 120 of these projects have been completed by spending around 750 billion Rials expenses and have been utilized accordingly.

Ö The most important projects which have been already performed are:

-          Execution and completing the first phase of the project for increasing the capacity of separation unit (1 Revamp) that includes changes or optimizing machinery, pipelines, pressure tanks, thermal converters, towers and other  installations with the goal of increasing production up to 120 percent of initial capacity;

-          Construction of the new building for controlling the process, purchase and implementing advanced and centralized DCS system

-          Purchase and implementation of fully automatic production line of barrels production

-          Purchase and installation of new water treatment facilities including  the R.O. system (reversed osmosis), hardeners filters and sand filters

-          Purchase of facilities and constructing two new concrete  cooling towers and refurbishing the old cooling towers

-          To obtain specialized electrical power feeder from the regional power organization, changing and renovation of transformers and regional  power distribution panels, changing and replacing switches and regional power station passages, changes and renovation of the old cabling system

-          Purchase and implementation and construction of private power plants that consists 6 super-modern gas generators, construction of control shops, construction of power distribution shops, installation of s transformers and condensers, installation of advanced control systems, installation of the facilities for establishing power distribution and cabling network of electricity power in 240 kilometers length

-          Purchase and implementation of new 85-ton boilers
