Ö Introduction to the Company:
Zargoosht Tehran was founded in August 1994 by a number of managers and experienced and professional experts of cattle breeding support Company to work in cattle breeding, slaughter houses, producing red meat and the subsidiary parts.
Ö Perspective and Goals:
Improvement in producing protein materials and healthy meat, developing standard slaughter houses, filleting and packing different types of red and white meats were among the main goals of the Company. The company plans to expand its activities to packing and distributing fresh and frozen cleaned fish, processing cattle feed, producing hamburger, sausage, salami and peas and beans as well as dried nuts and fruits in future.
Ö Activities which have been already carried out:
Since its establishment to the end of March 2003 the company was in the business of production and supplying packed meat and protein proteins for the local and foreign markets (Persian Gulf States, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia) and since 2003 and buying the majority of the shares of the company by Rey Investment Company, the range of activities expanded and covered purchasing the properties and installations of Bijin Cattle market and Khanlegh Industrial Slaughterhouse from State Cattle support Company and Production Units Development. In this connection, the activities of the company ranged as follows:
Mutton: 1,510,529 kilograms
Beef: 1,964,922 kilogram
Grounded meat: 1,514,220 kilogram
Livestock: 103,299 kilogram
Chicken meat: 365,889 kilogram
Processed: 776,421 kilogram.
Potentials and Capabilities:
Zargoosht Company has suitable facilities and systems to have a share of meat and cattle/protein products across the company, namely:
The cattle slaughter house built on 6,850 square meters land with 2000 square meters substructure and the daily slaughter capacity of 50 large cattle in one shift and 500 small cattle in the second shift.
Red meat packing workshop built on a plot of land with an area of 13.800 square meters and 1,200 square meters substructure. The daily capacity is 15 tons. It has two pre-cooling hall, one filleting hall, a ground meat production shop, freezing house and freezing tunnel.
Fresh and frozen chicken and fish packing workshop in a plot of land with an area of 13810 square meters and substructure of 298 square meters. The daily capacity is 3 tons for chicken chopping and packing, 10 tons fresh edible fish filleting and packing and 2 tons filleting of clean frozen fish.
Cattle feed packing workshop: This workshop has packing halls for sheep tripe, brain and tongue, head and trotters; however, since the chicken packing workshop is not ready, this workshop is being used as chicken packing unit with a daily capacity of 7 tons.
Cereals, beans and dried nuts and fruits workshop, built on a plot of land with an area of 5000 square meters and a substructure 1500 square meters. The annual capacity includes 400 tons beans packing, 400 tons dried nuts packing and 400 tons of dried nuts and fruits.
Meat transportation vehicles: two Benz trucks with refrigerator and a7 Nissan Van with refrigerator.
